Welcome!
I recently hit a milestone age (but I'm now a sexagenarian, isn't that cool?) and am finding myself reflecting on age, choices, health, sanity and choices (did I say choices?). I am working on a book on aging to help us boomers through this slide "over the hill," and I also do oral histories and have learned a ton from all the people who have graciously told me their life stories. Through these stories and also by just looking around, I see that we have choices on how we age, and sadly, there is no more procrastinating these changes we must make now to age well. That's the bad news, but the great news is ... there ARE choices!!
